Friends since school days, Jamie Flynn (left) and Douglas Thomson (right) founded Blaze Firewood in 2020 on the simple premise of offering good-quality logs at an honest, competitive price.
Based on Jamie’s family farm near Lamancha, we have built a reputation as a dependable supplier of excellent firewood for domestic customers throughout the Scottish Borders, Lothians and beyond.
We offer a full range of firewood to suit every type of stove, fireplace and budget, from premium hardwood kiln-dried on site to mixed bags of tree surgery waste that offer great value.
All timber is sourced locally, either through working with harvesting companies or putting wood from our own tree surgery business to good use. It’s a professional background that ensures we know how to cut, process and season timber of all kinds, minimising waste and always producing firewood that performs well.
Quality is everything to us, so we take care great in seasoning or kiln-drying our logs to produce consistent, ready-to-burn firewood that makes heating your home a breeze. It’s nothing fancy: just good firewood, properly processed, supplied on time, every time.
We deliver within a roughly 50-mile radius of EH46 7BQ, although are always happy to travel a bit further if needed. For added convenience, many customers also make use of our optional stacking service.
